Text Message Program

PANDA Express at Wayne State University (store #5121, operated by JDDA Panda WSU LLC) sends text messages from (313) 513-3097. We run the programs below. All of them are opt-in, and none of them are marketing.

Order updates (customers)

Order confirmation and a message when your order is ready for pickup.

How you opt in: when placing an order on our Order Ahead page, you may enter your mobile number and check the box labeled "Text me order updates." The box is unchecked by default and is never required to place an order.

Hiring and interviews (applicants)

Interview invitations, self-scheduling links, and updates on your application.

How you opt in: by providing your mobile number and agreeing to text updates on our job application form. Consent is never a condition of employment or of being considered for a role.

Operational alerts (our employees)

Scheduling notices and food-safety or operational alerts sent to our own staff.

How employees opt in: by completing a written Text Message Consent form at onboarding, which sets out the programs covered and states that consent is optional and not a condition of employment. Signed forms are retained by the store. Employees may opt out at any time by replying STOP or telling a manager, without any effect on their employment.

Replies to your questions

If you text our number, a manager may reply to answer you. We only reply to conversations you start.

Message frequency, rates, and opting out

• Message frequency varies by program and is typically low (a few messages per order, interview, or shift).
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of employment.
