Compliance

Text Message Opt-In Evidence

Every point at which we collect consent to send text messages, and exactly what the person sees when they give it.

PANDA Express at Wayne State University (store #5121, operated by JDDA Panda WSU LLC) sends text messages from (313) 513-3097. Consent is collected separately for each program and is never a condition of purchase or of employment.

This page exists so that consent can be verified without placing an order or visiting the store. Full program terms are on the Text Message Program page and in our Privacy Policy.

Customers — order updates

pandawsu.com/order-ahead, at the checkout step

Order Ahead checkout showing an optional mobile number field and an unchecked consent checkbox reading "Text me order updates (confirmation and when it is ready) at the number above from PANDA Express WSU", followed by the full disclosure text.

Checkbox label

“Text me order updates (confirmation and when it’s ready) at the number above from PANDA Express WSU.”

The box is unchecked by default and the mobile number field is marked optional. The order can be placed with both left blank — consent is never required to buy anything.

Job applicants — hiring and interviews

pandawsu.com/apply, Step 1 of the application form

This control is publicly viewable with no login and no prior steps. The application submits normally with the box left unchecked.

Employees — scheduling and operational alerts

Written consent form, completed at onboarding in the store

Employees opt in on a written Text Message Consent form that states the programs covered, that consent is optional and not a condition of employment, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and how to reply STOP or HELP. Signed forms are retained by the store.

The exact blank form is shown below, and is also published on its own printable page: Employee Text Message Consent form.

Replies to inbound texts

Consumer-initiated conversations only

If someone texts our number first, a manager may reply inside that same conversation. No proactive messages are sent on this path, so there is no opt-in control to capture.
